I'm mightily impressed with this kit, the surface detail is a great improvement on previous Special Hobby kits, also I pleased I don't have to devote any thought on how to fill the divots on the surface. A great kit, I shall be buying many more! Mine arrived a few days ago and I can only agree with these comments. Surface detail is particularly delicate yet very sharp, should look good with a natural metal finish. I am very tempted to move this kit to the very top of the pile... and I don't know how many I may buy once the III-E and 5 are released... Edited October 14, 2022 by Giorgio N 5

I want to build many IIIE especially an EC2/4 "Lafayette" nuke alert jet, a 5F, a 5BA in the early and late schemes, some more Adl'A IIIC/E and... ... just so many! You're right, they're a licence to print money! 4

Good evening Wez I hope that SH will be able to produce enough kits to allow you and all the Mirage fans here on Brittmodeller to build so many Mirage III 😉 Best Regards Patrice 1 1
Enzo the Magnificent Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Do we know what will be the next release and when? Not counting the French IIIC and the Atar 9C engined IIIC.

TEMPESTMK5 Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Good morning Enzo and everybody interested by the Mirages Here is the answer from Mr Riedel on Facebook : " Next spring, there will be a French Mirage IIIC with a different armament and rocket engine. Then the Mirage IIIE and Mirage 5 will follow in various variants. A. Riedel " Best Regards Patrice 4 4

The rocket engine is already included in the IIICJ boxing. I don't know what the different armament would be. The Special Hobby photos released show lots of air to ground ordnance yet to be released, but I don't think they would be appropriate for a IIIC in French service. Incidentally, parts for an Atar 9C engined variant are also included in the current release, so if one can find suitable decals it's good to go! 2

In AdlA service the vast majority of IIIC's carried the MATRA R530 and AIM-9B, which are included on runner I of the current IDF/AF boxing, while the fuel tanks for the French version will consist of partsmarked as not for use in the instructions of kit 72352. Only a small number of C's were wired for the MATRA Magic 1 very late in their lives, and I'd wager that whoever buys this kit is bound to have at least a number of SH Mirage F.1C's in the stash which have both Magic 1 and 2's . old_tonto Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Can anyone tell me if this kit is suitable to build a South African Mirage IIICZ?

After all, who could resist. Cheers, Andre

Even if the Doppler bulge of the IIIE / RD is not included as a seperate part, I'm sure there are a lot of Heller or even Revell spare parts floating around. Cheers, Andre 1

RidgeRunner Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Yes, very nice. I wonder if they’ll stick with some nice French decals - Nat metal, desert, blue grey
Meatbox8 Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Wow. Looks great. The Mirage III, like the Lighting, looks best in natural metal in my opinion. 1

Must buy for me.🤣 4
