Trainers GB, We're on! - Chat

This has been a brilliant GB and many thanks to @Rob G & @Col. for hosting.

I managed to get my Hawker Henley into the gallery "last minute.com"

Congratulations to everyone who finished their builds and if you didn't, like me and my Hotspur glider, please don't be tempted to put it on the shelf of shame. Finish it off.

If it's a kit with Frog heritage it's very welcome across at the Frog Squad GB. I know the host quite well !

Cheers Pat

AAAAND th' th 'th 'that's all folks! To (mis)quote Max Bygraves, we have come to the end of our lollipop. It's been a grand adventure, and I'm glad that so many of you managed to finish your entries. Well done to all of you. Don't forget to vote for you favourite when the poll goes up.

Thank you again, good night, and may your deity of choice bless you in a manner that pleases.

Do you hear there! Do you hear there! The poll is up, I repeat, the poll is up. Go now and vote for your favourite build - you have but a week until it closes.

Good luck with making a choice, I haven't been able to decide as there's so many quality builds.

Once again (and for the last time) THANK YOU ALL for being part of this GB. We managed 49 completed builds, with a few more in the wings (heh) that would've made it but for supply or paint/decal issues. Stout effort all.

And as a special treat...

Ahem... due to absolute pillockery, I managed to make a complete  🏉🎱up of the poll, so have redone it. Hopefully I now have it right (but I have my doubts).

Anyone who has already voted, please do so again. Anyone who has yet to vote, please do so. Thank you.

A quick reminder that the poll for the Trainers GB closes on a couple of days. If you haven't voted, be a good chap and pop in, please. If you haven't even SEEN the entries there, shame on you - there's some quite spectacular work on display, so have a look, then pick a favourite.

Thenk yoo wall.

Last call for Gallery votes for this GB guys. You've got until midnight GMT today to have your say, which (if I've counted on my fingers all proper like), gives you 12 hours to make a selection.

Have at it lads!

And finally...

The votes are in, the poll has closed, and we have a winner. And a couple of runners-up. And a whole lot of excellent quality modelling. And a lot of ands in this paragraph (and I wonder if anyone will actually read this and make a sad face?)

Without further ado, here's the results:

In 1st place, with 6 votes, we have

Nimrod54 and a shiny Swiss Pilatus PC-21.

As I stated earlier, there's no prize for getting a place, but you may bask in the glow that is the respect of the BM community. You may also, if you so desire, try using your new found fame to get a free beer at the pub, or to get out of your next speeding fine- you never know, it may just work... (doubtful). :D

Seriously, thank you and well done to all who participated. It was a great GB and everyone has done wonders with their entries, which in some cases were old, manky kits of less than stellar quality. Thank you all for just getting on with it despite my absences, and for not causing me any heartache - everyone got into the spirit of the thing and no-one asked difficult questions.

That's all from me, I now highly recommend that you go and sign up for the Cats and Dogs GB that's currently being floated somewhere near here: https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235056606-cats-and-dogs/

It'll be fun!

Wow! That's a real surprise, even more so when I look at the quality of other gallery entries, with @zebra' s A-4N Skyhawk and @AdrianMF's Miles Master being equally deserving of topping the poll.

Thanks to those who took the time to comment on both my builds, and for the encouragement along the way, and especially to those that kindly voted for the Pilatus.

And a final thankyou to @Rob G for proposing this @Enzo Matrix for setting it up, and last but not least to you fellow Britmodellers for making this hobby a lot of fun.

Cheers
