Cool boxing, Yeah, those big kits in boxes, series 4 and the like, they were well beyond the range of pocket money. You're only chance really was holding out for Christmas, make your desires known, and hope for the best. Although I remember, as a nipper back in the sixties, seeing the box in our local toy shop, along with its inspirational Roy Cross artwork, I somehow never got around to getting hold of one, (along with the Rotodyne and SRN4). Ahh yes I remember getting a Tamiya Catalogue one year and spent ages salivating over ail kits inside and would get very excited over a visit to Hythe to go to the model shop. Added the actuator rods and covers for the Ailerons and decals from S&M but otherwise OOB. Now got to pack away all my modelling bits and bobs for the rest of the work on the house which starts early in the new year. Will put up an RFI post later on.
