SB2U Vindicator

The front pages of Aircraft Pictorial 2 by our fellow member Dana Bell and also of Naval Fighters 106 show what rivets were visible, but generally - due to the aluminum varnish (or other colour coats) - very few are actually prominent.  The Vindicator looks very clean. So, if you don't paint any it wouldn't be wrong.

I need information about the SB2U Vindicator

In addition to the reference Toryu mentioned, there is also Naval Fighters NF106, by Steve Ginter- although it is not cheap, it is even more comprehensive in detail photos and diagrams than the Dana Bell reference. There is also the Squadron-Signal In Action No. 122 on the SB2U, which is not as comprehensive a reference but can be had fairly cheaply. I have all three, and in my opinion, the Bell and Ginter books are by far the best reference works on the Vindicator, with Dana's book being the most bang for the buck, as we say here in Texas! (No, I do not get anything whatsoever for endorsing Dana Bell's publications....I wish!).
