Moggy 461
@dora How about the S.55A? Brazilian Naval Aviation had six units. I have found two photos only (and a few drawings but it doesn't count ) Cheers, Moggy

Thank you for this info. Currently I am constructing SM 55X by Italian Delta 2 (short run) in colours from Spanish Civil War (the thread is in Floatplanes II GB) - but I started to think that there are really big differences between variants of SM 55 and maybe on my shelves should be room for two SM 55? Mike Esposito 244
I hope Dora won't disappoint and make us who want the X variant, to find and build the lousy Delta 2 kit. As there are big differences in the engines, the float sizes and the cockpit shape, which is also enclosed. Edited November 7, 2019 by Mike Esposito
Graham Boak 6,571
I thought it was the Delta 2 kit that I had, but it certainly isn't resin. I might wish it was, it is very hard polystyrene.. difficult to work. Perhaps just Delta? It might be available, with a little persuasion...
