Funny, we are building exactly the same aircraft in the same scale. The only difference so far is that I shied away from using the RS kit and choose Academy instead. I am still not sure if this was a wise move, so I am highly interested to see how you get along with the RS kit.

Good evening Doc

I think that the Academy kits is probably more easy to build and more detailed but it is said that it has some issues ..

welcome aboard Patrice, you managed to sneak this one in without me noticing...........well thats my excuse.:D

It's good to see another 1/72nd scale beauty, the GB seems to have been taken over by the bigger scale models.

Good luck with the build, I glad you could join us.

Make a good educational build thread Patrice, as I have the exact same kit but will do mine in the colours of the evil; a lend-lease Russian Kobrushka. :popcorn:V-P

Good evening VP

I will try to do my best ..

The resin exhausts look good. How is the kit's fit so far? The interesting parts in this respect will be the fuselage halves and the clear parts.

Good afternoon Doc

I must admit that I haven't tried to close the fuselage halves so far but I promise to try soon I really hope not to be disapointed ...

she must be a nice model, it almost looks like a 1/48th beastie!! The PE work is lovely.

Hello Rich

I think that a 1/48 kit would be more detailed ..
