Twentecable
Hi guys, This is my daughters latest work. A small vignette she calls cloud breaker. She used the airbrush for the first time, this was very exciting for her. On my advise she didnt paint the canopy. Have fun. Greetings Lars and Lauren
bigbadbadge
Well done Lauren what a fantastic result and the first time use of an airbrush too. I can see we should expect great things in the future from you. Great work All the best Chris
TonyW
It's like looking at a frame from a Japanese comic! Well done on a very inventive model. The cloud base really does suit the model and the title fits the model perfectly. A model to be proud of.

Gorby
9!? That's amazing. Much better than the mutated plastic blobs I was producing when I was that age. I hope she continues, because she obviously has plenty of talent.

noelh
Great job and a novel idea for display. Never seen that done before. Love the the Zero scudding through the clouds. Brings back memories of doing the same, not in a Zero, something more prosaic, only the clouds were coloured a pinkish orange because of the setting sun. Given me an idea for a diorama that. Pink PR Spitfire in the clouds.

Rich G
A brilliant little vignette for a 9 year old, far better than anything I remember making at 9! Rich
dogsbody
I, too have a daughter named Lauren ( she's 27 ) but she's never showed one bit of interest in aircraft or scale modelling. To be that good at that age is awesome. I don't think I'm that good now at 63. I still haven't used my airbrush yet, though I will be making an attempt soon, if I don't chicken out. Horatio Gruntfuttock
A lovely job Lauren - when I was your age I built the brand new Airfix Harvard and painted it with yellow house paint and a 1/2 inch brush! Well done and we all look forward to more interesting diorama ideas.
kapam
Very nice work and very imaginative too! None of the models that I built at 9 y.o.a. have survived, but I still know they weren't as good as that!
Silenoz
looking really good (as for building and painting)... think the clouds will make it easier to transport too... (killing two birds with one stone). Give her a well deserved congratulation for this beauty
Pandoa
That's fabulous you should be very pleased with yourself- and you just can't beat a big dollop of proper weathering like you've got there! I love it!
