stevej60
Hi folk's,In all the year's of modelling I've never re-painted an old build until now,I was having a dust last week and a re-shuffle and was about to consign this to the bin as I was never really happy with it when I did it about four year's ago the colours I mixed were awful,I stripped the glazing of washed it after a light rub over with wet'ndry.Decal's were from Hasegawa here's the original. And the re-furb,thank's for looking in.

fubar57
Great restoration. I've done four myself. Took old kits from when I first started back modelling, fixed some seams and as you did, a better paint job

jrlx
Hi Steve, The original wasn't that bad, though the colours were a bit off. The restored version is a big improvement and makes it a beautiful build! Cheers Jaime

franky boy
Great job Steve Ive got 4 or 5 of my old builds that I’d like to re furb but never seem to get around to it. To many new kits in the stash! James
DennisTheBear
From the title I expected a dio of a Hurricane being rebuilt (gives me an idea for a P-40). The actual thing is really a very good refurb, and I too love the oversize codes. DennisTheBear
BerndM
Looks great in its new livery and a way better idea than to bin it.

CJP
Hi stevej60 - your Hurricane looks very neat and it just shows what a bit of TLC can do for those older models - recycling at its best CJP
