That's around £1,035 GBPs today mate.  Cash? Hang on, I was working on the 150,000 yen figure.  I hadn't noticed the 1,300,000 = £8,972 plus shipping, probably.  or they could fuel it up and pilot it there?

Must admit that I do not understand the price figures - it seems they quote the Moebius kit - for over 400 GBP??? Any Japanese native speaker here? ;-)

Discovery One was 140.1 m = 5515.8 ins 

57 ft = 684 ins. 1/10 = 68.4 ins 

5515.8 / 68.4 = 1/80.6

 

Haven't double-checked so apologies for any errors. Fifty years ago I was hankering after one of those groovy spacesuits for my Action Man.
