1/72 Zvezda Yakovlev Yak-130 Belarus AF

Hello

Here is my most recent build with this 1/72 Zvezda Yakovlev Yak-130 of the Belarus Air Force.

Markings came from the 72-071 Begemot decal sheet.

This is an easy kit to build except the panel lines which are not deep enough and I had to engrave again.

The colours have been blended to match pictures I could get on the Web.

Critics are welcome.

Patrick

Looks terrific. Glad to hear you say it was an easy build. In the box, it looks horribly complex and almost certain to mis-align.

Encouraged, I think i’ll give mine a go. Thanks for posting.

Complex but everything is going well with perfect adjustments. Except around the jet exhaust.

Wow! Glad to see an aircraft in my country's air force :)

And great work on this model too!

I chose this scheme because the flag is nice and these green colours are seldom seen in those grey and blue grey era.

Hello Patrick,

I have mine JAK-130 in surfacer ready for starting to make the same nice colours. So I am happy to see that kit finished. Very nice result from your side, and I agree with your comment related to panel lines. I also had to engrave it. BTW, my feelings during build was, I am duing Eduard kit as there is simmilar partition and fitting of plastic pieces.

Regards,

David
