replicant
Hej! Britmodellers, having finished my up to now stölth Hammer of Thor for Modellfan 10 2018. So for all Roumormongers: Specialhobby had already a Article Nr. for the JA at the Nuremberg Fair, but they decided then to go again with Tarangus. This is my early testshot handed to me in Prague before that decision. I was free to choose the version, because no decals were ready too at that time. The shot was very, very good, i only polished the prototype canopy and you all fans will have a lot of fun with this, because there is not a lot to complain even for special Specialists on the Viggen Cheers, Tom 48

TallBlondJohn
Beautifully done. Best thing about Viggens - the camo means people can''t ruin then with pre-shading...
jean
Hi Sniffing Tom, wie get es mit dir? Gee, this Viggen is gorgeous! Anybody tackling this camouflage needs his/her head examined! But the result is stupendous. Congrats, as always!!! This new tooling seems to send the Heller kit of old straight back to the dungeon... 72modeler
Tom, Unglaublich! What an awesome build and finish! The best-built Swede other than Ann-Margaret! My very favorite Swedish weenie cooker! Are Special Hobby/Tarangus going to do the single-seater in 1/72? Is this one of the test shots? Your usual outstanding model- both fit and finish. was wondering what you have been up to, and now I know. Keep 'em coming! Did you use a masking set for the camouflage or did you make your own? Either way, a massive undertaking, but THE scheme to do a Viggen! Ich bin nicht wurdig, mein freund! Mike

The kit will start with a Tarangus JA37 as i know, but all parts are in the box, even for the twoseater! They come later with SH. I used a Mooserepublic decalsheet, took some parts from Heller and optimised here and there. I changed a PJ production pilot and took wheels from Maestro. I used the Maestro Mask for the camo, it doesnt fit Heller and so here. Camo is individual on ervery plane, so you have to adapt it anyway... My version 1982-1986 dayglo 59 was at Farnborough 1982, so some mates may have pics from there!! Cheers, Tom

Christer A
Det var då en väldigt snygg JaktViggen! Slitaget är realistiskt, färgerna stämmer väl och det ser riktigt riktigt bra ut. Oh, sorry I should write in English instead Magnificient FighterViggen! I'd say you did a terrific job with the weathering, colors and overall appearance. Superb job! I think I might need one of these. Or two.

Silenoz
Splendid work... congratz... camo and weathering is very nice. Did you use pre-cut masks, or did you do the hard work yourself.
