Metal Earth Klingon Bird of Prey, IKS M'Char

Recommended Posts

I bought a few of these tiny kits on a whim a couple of weeks back, and this is the first one I have ever assembled.

I reckon this kit scales to about 1/1375?

You really do have to be able to achieve a Zen state for these,  they're sooooo fiddly...

Sorry about the 'phone pics.

This is how it comes, on 2 "sprues"

I'll admit that this thing was nearly launched at warp factor 9 bin-wards on more than one occasion,  but I'm glad I stuck with it!

I was tempted by the Atlas V and launch gantry, but I think I'd need to be Oogway from Kung Fu Panda to be able to get into the correct mindset for that!

I've got a Darth Vader TIE fighter to do, and my eldest daughter (16) is into Marvel stuff so I got her Captain America's shield and Mjölnir to build,  in attempt to distract her from her phone for a few hours.  Somehow,  I think I might be on a loser with that plan...

Although, the sense of achievement when you finish one of these things is not inconsiderable!
