KAYELL
Hi folks First dip into floaty things So here I go 1/700 (too small) Tamiya Mogami with White Ensign etch set (also too small) Am wandering out of my comfort zone doing this so may be a premature stop to progress...lets see The Etch set is tiny much smaller than I'm used to on armour subjects! Made a bit of a start on putting de gausing cables and a small radar thing on ( please forgive the lack of technical terms..I will learn) A few more ...and call it a day Cheers Keith

KAYELL
Rain this morning so go to allotment this afternoon gives me a couple of hours of fiddling about with the etch brass Giving it a rest now as advised... Getting the spade out for some dirty action. Cheers Keith
ArtickWarspite
Looking awesome, can't wait to see how it progresses. Working with PE in the scale is incredibly hard but yours looks effortless. Keep up the good work!

Silenoz
Always thought of this configuration as pretty impressive as a hybrid carrier, but in active duty is seemed to be pretty useless... Nice progress with this one.

I am having to abandon some of the etch stuff because the points on my tweezers are too big for the brass! Cheers Keith
KAYELL
Hi folks My little boat has been left alone for the past few weeks due to domestic issues and finishing off some other stuff, Managed to find a bit of time to put some paint on it. Still a lot to do but plodding along. Although sometimes I am getting a bit lost doing this I am enjoying the change from my armour. beefy66
That’s looking great so far the decking has come up a treat I see you have used a piece of wood for holding the little ship it does make it much easier to handle when your working on things.
