sailorboy61
As you do, picked somerhing unusual and therefore difficult as a camo scheme. The smoke rings rather then squiggles. I know there are Mike Grant decals out there, although they seem from initial searches to be somewhat illusive. Other than freehand for which I dont have the consistency skill wise, anyone know of other options or where to fine the said decals please? https://www.scalemates.com/kits/131740-mike-grant-decals-mg48-043-smoke-ring-camo

Giorgio N
Found the decal sheet: http://www.prontomodel.com/DettaglioArticolo.aspx?CodInterno=TM454 They are available directly from Prontomodel, that is the company that today manage Tauromodel products. I used a similar sheet in 1/72 scale from Tauro, not the smoke rings but the green spots for a different Mc.202 scheme and they go on the model pretty well, are thin and look good enough, although the colour is IMHO a bit too brown. I believe they are laser printed or similar as they are on a continuous film and to careful examination show some pixelation. They are also a bit fragile and scratch more easily that standard silk printed decals. You can see the effect on my model here as I built this for the original MTO GB: I also have a set of 1/72 smoke rings but I've yet to try them. I expect them to be very similar to the ones used in the model above
