Baldy
Superb shots Keith. I am interested in 159881/543 as a modelling subject, using the Furball decal sheet. Furball have 159881 in 1982 with the "old style" nose cone and original, non extended LE extension so I assume that in 1981 this would be the same. I find it very difficult to determine the nosecone shape from side on pictures - can you tell? Any help would be appreciated. Looks a little like the "shark nose" radome in this picture to me? Cheers Malcolm
Shalako
Help has arrived Malcolm!!!! It's the old style radome and without the extended LEs. Cheers Bill Edited April 16, 2019 by Shalako

Modelholic
Looks like someones trying to enter the cockpit of an aircraft (two tone grey with '53' in white) in the background. Can't quite make out what it is but it looks to have very long landing gear (a Skyhawk would be my guess)

Shalako
That's an A-4E and he's doing something very stupid trying to move from the wing to the cockpit area without a ladder. The Skyhawk at that point is very high. One recklessness and he could had ended up in a hospital (the least!).
