fallmonk
Can anyone keep me right regarding paint (preferably tamyia) I seem to have narrowed it down to either nato green or olive drab . Personally I think it is nato green or similar looking at it , it's too dark in pictures for olive drab. Thanks in advance.
steve4428
Am in the middle of building mine mate, and will be using the Revell spray cans, namely NATO olive, it's one of those aircraft that looks a different shade in different light! Dave Fleming
Depends when your model is timeline wise. The original HC2s were delivered back from Boeing in an FS green that was an approximation of RAF Dark Green. They were later repainted in U.K. colours, I suspect latterly NATO green, but it could be RAF Dark Green. Would like to see definitive proof either way! TimB
RAF Dark Green over IR black undercoat. I think the issue with the first HC2s was that Boeing had limits on what types of paint they could spray, and the undercoat was left off, if I recall.
