Here's my attempt at Cleopatra III, a P-40N flown by Geoff Atherton of 80 Squadron RAAF.

It's the Academy kit, brush-painted with Colourcoats and Humbrol enamels and finished with poster paint weathering over a Windsor & Newton matt varnish.

Here's my Thunderbolt II of 30 Squadron RAF.

It's the Academy kit, brush-painted with Colourcoats and Humbrol enamels, Xtradecal transfers with poster paint weathering over a Windsor and Newton matt varnish coat. The drop tanks were pinched from an Airfix P-38.

Spitfire VC - 79 Squadron RAAF.

Final one from me for a while: the KP Spitfire VC, brush-painted with Colourcoats and Humbrol enamels with poster paint weathering over a Windsor and Newton matt varnish. The transfers are from the Airfix kit.

Seafire MkIII, Sword 1:72 straight OOB except for some seat belts. Brush painted with Xtracrylix paints flatted down with Liquitex matt varnish. Finished as an 894 Squadron aircraft from HMS Indefatigable.

Like most Sword Sea/spitfires builds into a lovely plane but takes a bit of work along the way, especially on the wing/fuselage joint. Some minor traumas with the transfers but fixed sufficiently.

Here's my attempt at a Spitfire VIII of 615 Squadron RAF.

It's the Eduard 1/72 kit with Xtradecals transfers (I managed to loose the dog so had to paint it on - not very successfully.

It's brush painted with Colourcoats and Humbrol enamels, Windsor & Newton matt varnish and poster paint weathering.

Another one finished today. It's the Academy P-47D, brush painted with Colourcoats and Humbrol enamels, transfers from Xtradecals, and finished with a poster paint wash over Windsor and Newton matt varnish and is meant to represent a Thunderbolt I of 146 Squadron RAF.

This is my Zero A6M3 It is based on a Rabaul Zero after they were ordered to add camouflage to the planes. I've added a bit more chipping damage to the wings, added the wing lights.

So this is it done. This is the Tamiya early cheaper kit with a PE instrument panel. The tail surfaces have been cutout and re-positioned. The national markings are hand painted.

"Little Indian", 2nd Air Commando, 10th Airforce, Kalaikunda, India 1945

This is the excellent 1/48 Airfix kit recently reissued as a F-51D. Fit of parts and engineering was excellent, and accordingly was a dream to build.

Info about this unit is a bit thin on the ground. They were only in theatre for a short time, primarily to support the advancing Allied armies and the task of retaking Rangoon. Once this objective was achieved in mid 1945 they returned to the US for training.

Thanks to the organizers of the GB, and to all of you who looked in to my build thread, All the best, Greg.
