Edaurd Spitfire Mk IX Eygptian Air Force

Recommended Posts

Calling this one done. Eduards 1/72 Spitfire Mk IX, OOB apart form the Techmod decals, done with Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics, used some of the wife face powder for desert dust. Done as an Egyptian air force Mk IX as there has been a few of the Israeli Mk IX's from the same sheet done recently. This is the first of Eduard Spitfires I have done so was mostly happy with the result but I would do several thing differently for the next one, single piece wheels and engine cowl for a start. As usual any comment welcome

Nicely finished Spitfire, Neil. I used the same decals in 1/48 but had problems with them tearing. Yours have gone down nicely.

Second time I've used Techmod decals at 1/72 and have worked perfectly both times, very thin and dont fold up like some
