Very nice, but I think the stencils could be a bit too prominent.  Maybe it’s the lighting and not so obvious to the eye in natural light?

A really smart looking Phantom in my favourite scheme for the type (after the FAA one, that is).  Great paint finish that really enhances the purposeful look of the type.  I feel a 56 Squadron one in this scheme coming on.

Cheers guys.

Reference photos in the Pat Martin British Phantom books also show the prominent stencils on the camo birds.

Very nice !......takes me back to 1977-78 and peering over the fence at RAF Luqa during the regular RAF APCs that took place....Those were the days...almost weekly visits from the RAF Lightning and Phantom Force honing their gunnery skills on the range. I built a whole squadron of Matchbox F-4s, finishing them in the markings of each Unit as it rotated through Malta - my first dip into the world of aftermarket decals thanks to the late Dick War and Mike Silk of Modeldecals fame.

I have to say your model is way more advanced and you have achieved a great finish there. Superb motivation for me to try my hand with one of the new Airfix kits.

Well Done, Sir !
