Roger Newsome Posted August 31, 2018 Share Posted August 31, 2018 Having enjoyed the two recently completed Prussian Fusiliers I dug this chap out of the grey army. A Sergeant of regiment Spoercken. Initial under painting and mapping out of shadow areas with acrylic.... First coat of oil paint, Cadmium Red. That was yesterday, today was a bit of a painting frenzy..... It is what it is. The problem is having the same enthusiasm for a subject after a month away from it.
