28ZComeback
Interesting subject matter. The existing kit in 1-48 is not bad, though is getting a little long in the tooth.
exdraken
Bird Dogs... Maybe a new field of interest for me? Post war small props Austria also operated some I think!
k5054nz
1/48 is more my style now, so I'm very pleased to see this. Have been a Bird Dog fan for many years...the problem now is deciding on a scheme!

Have been a Bird Dog fan for many years...the problem now is deciding on a scheme! Picked up a Hasegawa release of the Hobby USA kit for an unusually reasonable price recently so Roden's release should make an interesting comparison to build alongside it and will hopefully have a lot less flash which has always been present on the Hobby USA kit from when it was first released and with any luck the price will not be excessive for what is ultimately a rather small model. This is about due for publication and might help with choices of colour scheme and detail - http://online.fliphtml5.com/qymw/nhbp/

Truro Model Builder
At least one was operated alongside Austers by the Army-staffed No.1903 AOP Flight in Korea with RAF roundels. 1
Teeradej
ORDERED! Those crazy priced Model USA kits will not get my attention anymore! Cant't tell how I feel when kits in my dream come true. This is the third time by Roden after their C-5 and C-141. From recently releases looks like they listen to some people wanting Vietnam era subjects as all new tooling. Some are not kitted before, some are very old tooling and way too much expensive these days.
Caerbannog
Maybe a Sinson Sentinal L-5 next? With some nice nose art? Edit: Just to make sure which nose art I am talking about (take cover - there is some nudity... 😞 https://books.google.de/books?id=J48Z2-l7ugEC&pg=PA173&lpg=PA173&dq=L-5+recon+aircraft+afm&source=bl&ots=6CXML8Trrb&sig=8vZ57M4IvWessPjAaMLf0Ew93Ug&hl=de&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjG-sOX4bXeAhWkKsAKHXXxDKkQ6AEwBXoECAcQAQ#v=onepage&q=L-5 recon aircraft afm&f=false I wonder if anyone knows to which aircraft it was applied.

Caerbannog
Yes and a 1:48 version of their Skymaster. I guess this is quite possible at least, after their 1:32 version.

Des
If anyone is thinking about buying the 1/48 Roden Bird Dog but is put off by the UK price I got mine with shipping from Poland last month for about half that and it looks like similar offers are still available on a well known internet auction site.
