Horten Ho-229 A-1 (Ho-IX)

This is my entry to the recent Blitzbuild Group Build. The kit is nice a simple, ideal when you only have 24 hours to complete the entire build !

The work in progress is below

 

 

As the decals that come with the kit and the proposed colour scheme wasn't very inspiring I decided to try something a bit different. So having found some ancient FROG decals and with no respect for actual history at all, the Ho-229 was pressed into service with the Italian airforce, I hope you like it

Weirdly attractive in those colours - it looks like one of those colourful hawk moths you find roosting on  tree trunk somewhere in the woods!
