At Sea Posted August 30, 2018 Share Posted August 30, 2018 Hi, I started this ages ago for the RAF 100 Group Build but life got in the way and I never made it in time. Here is the finished product, below are links to WiP for the interested. Bits I'm happiest with: The fit and the weathering. First time I've played around with multiple weathering media on such an unforgiving paint scheme and I'm pleased with the result. Bits I'm least happy with: I managed to slice too much off the casting blocks for the Pavla seats and they sit a bit low as result. The Skyflash missiles should have white radomes not grey. I was really careful with the weathering as Tornados get grubby but most of the shots of early ones in books etc are of immaculate aircraft. It seems to me that the bomber squadrons always had grubbier birds than the fighter boys. Phantom FGR.2 is in the blocks after my Vulcan for the 1960's Cold War GB.
