Folkbox1
Ok, I know that this is a topic that comes up all the time but I though it would be interesting and educational to find out what kits you'd like to see in plastic. There are however a number of rules 🙂  1) can't already be available in plastic (as far as you know) 2) it must be weird and/or whacky - the type of plane you saw a picture of and thought "what the hell was the designer on to come up with that" 3) it must have flown at least once (so no Luftwaffe 46 fantasies etc) 4) can be from any time period  To kick things off I'll suggest the Blackburn B-20 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackburn_B-20

Jure Miljevic
Ikarus orkan I hope that slim and relatively shallow fuselage looks weird enough in comparison with those fat engines. Cheers Jure

Folkbox1
All good, I want kits of all of these - especially the flying banana 🙂
Jure Miljevic
Originally Orkan was to have completely transparent nose. With those engines, it was probably the only way to see anything. Never made it into production. Nevertheless, I would not mind having one in plastic, either in 1/72 or 1/48. Cheers Jure
Unfinished project
I would love an AH-56 Cheyenne and the S-72 in 1/72 and 1/48 not that I’m being greedy. I love all that experimental chopper stuff and I know there’s a resin Cheyenne but that beyond my talents.

Aurora did a 1/72 scale injection-moulded kit many years ago , can still be found although usually on the expensive side unless you are very lucky. bentwaters81tfw
I have seen the Cheyenne. Mel had one for sale and I hummed and haa-ed a bit then left it. One of our august members has it now, so I'm glad it went to the right home. The S-72 exists too, we have a model of it displayed at the museum. It was based at Woodbridge prior to it appearing at Farnborough.

bentwaters81tfw
Handley Page HP39 Gugnunc. I have 1/32 scale plans It will appear in the flesh Maybe next year. Â Something equally exotic and unkitted in that scale sits on my desk almost ready for paint, but you will have to come and see it at Telford. Corsairfoxfouruncle
Hmm i was always one for Hughes and Curtiss. So a Hughes XP-73 which was a develepmont variant of the XF-11 Recon plane. The Curtiss XP-71. Rare-planes already does a McDonell XP-67 Moonbat. I like these quirky designs and would do them as a variation of the Luft.’46 idea.  Dennis
