longshanks
Stunning job Rob, to your usual high standards It may have taken some time but it was worth the wait on this unusual subject One tiny, tiny critique the fore and aft wire from the mast head is an aerial wire. As such it would have insulators at each end and either side of the mast. The front and rear sections would probably linked and there would be a link wire down to the cabin top again with an insulator. Where you lead others follow …. Terry1954
Hi Rob, I agree with Kev, this is stunning. I enjoyed the WIP and this RFI really shows it well and is yet another example of these sorts of builds that are inspiring me down this theme of modelling. If my Vosper works, I'd like to tackle one of these next and if it comes out half as good as yours, I'll be well pleased! Cheers Terry
Courageous
As Kev says, well worth the wait. Now that Kev has highlighted those insulators on the aerials, I think I had better make sure they're done as it looks like I'm following . JohnWS
She's a beauty Rob! 👍👍 Love the details. The weathering looks very effective. The lead wire rope coils look very realistic, as well. John

seadog
Excellent! Really fine work updating the Airfix kit! Coastal Craft do really good accessories, and having built one of their BPB co MGBs, I can recommend their full kits as well. F

robgizlu
Thanks Gents for all the kind comments Kev - I'm experimenting with PVA +/or CA glue for insulators. Thanks for that - it makes loads of sense Rob

Terry1954
Hmm insulators? 🤔 These look good. Should I be thinking insulators when I come to rig the Vosper? Terry
