John R
I don't know if if was me being old and having 'been there - done that' but the displays seemed a bit tamer than in the past. I was also miffed by having chosen to stand at the wrong end of the airfield to get topside shots since all the curving approaches seemed to be done at the other end. The only really good display was by the Sea Fury near the end of the show. Apologies for some these looking 'over jpg'd - they looked OK on my computer - I'm investigating but baffled at the moment Chinook Rich Goodwin demonstrating what 'knife edge' flight means The Bronco was given a special paint scheme - self explanatory, I hope Sally B - B17G Flying Fortress The Norwegian Vampires also had a new colour scheme to celebrate the RAF 100 Most of their display was too fas away for any decent shots - this one was much enlarged The Norwegian MiG 15UTI (Don't know what's happened with the upload - it looks fine in Photoshop - will investigate and correct - John) The Naval Historic's Sea Fury went u/s so Brian Smith in this version was a replacement and gave a very good display

Paul J
Looked to be a pleasant little show with much the same content as Biggin had the weekend before. And just up the road from me.... but I didn't go. At least you had fine weather as Sunday looked to be a wash out!! Love the Bronco pics ... I thought it a quite fast little aircraft when I saw it at Biggin. First time I ever seen a flying display by one too. Nice pics regardless, as they look fine .
