Very good job with painting. Personally I like the first photo with undersides the best. I saw such an effect on the pictures with P-40. I will leave it at this stage. 😃

Just to prove to outsiders that there is still life in this GB:

 

 

The cobra now has decals and the infamous propeller that cost me so much nerves is painted in a metallic colour. Propellers are not always black and Airacobras often had light-coloured props, probably in natural metal (cf. the photo at the start of this thread).

Unfortunately, the decal softener (that did little to soften the thick-ish Berna decals) has clouded the paint on the wing a bit next to the roundel, but I guess I can hide it somehow.

You got a great result out of the Berna decals.  I had a bad time with them on a Helldiver... a little clouding is better than a disintegrating rudder tricolour.
