Flipper
Hi there folks this is my latest build. Its Tamiya’s 1/24 Subaru Impreza WRC converted from the 555 spec to the car driven by Bruno Theiry on the 1997 Rally Du Condroz in the Winfield Tobacco Livery. The spec of the build are as follows. 1. Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC Kit No. 24218 2. Reji Models Winfield Tobacco Livery and Resin Wheels 3. Hobby Design Photo Etch and Resin kit 4. Hobby Design Tyre Valves 5. Main body painted in Zero Paints Winfield Red, & clear coated using Zero Paints 2K Diamond Finish. 6. Remainder of the car was painted using various Tamiya and Vallejo Acrylic Paints. Anyway hope you all like it. Cheers David
keefr22
That's a really beautiful job! I built the same one must be over ten years ago now and I remember having awful trouble with the Reji decals that stuck like a limpet as soon as they touched the model - they certainly didn't look anywhere near as good as yours do! Lovely Scooby! Keith

Lovely Scooby! Keith Cheers Keith. The Reji decals I used in my opinion were probably the best decals I’ve used. They are very thin though. Windy37
In any colour scheme these are ageless rally cars , just like mk1 and 2 Escorts . This is a 21 year old car !!! Great job !!
kapam
That is awesome. I love WRC cars. To me, this is from WRC's heyday (although, hopefully the best years of WRC are still ahead of us!). The red, gold and white makes for a stunning livery. Possibly better than Subaru's blue 555 schemes. A brilliantly built and finished model.
