The subtle tone variations on the wings and fuselage look just right to add a hint of modulation to the paintwork, and the open hatches and the drooping elevators add refined touches of life to the airframe. It looks as if the kit makers did their homework, too. It's a joy to see slab sided radiator housings with curved fairings against the wing – not bulged sides, as many kits would have it, after the mould makers misinterpreted plan drawings of the area… Superb display of modelling chops and an artist's eye for real life.
