Hilarious project!

Made me laugh.

But if you were not from west Wales I'd say you'd been in the sun too long......

Next one is an F-5A which it about 50% my input.  Actually  Kinetic. It has not been an easy task with this project to pick the subjects which were firstly fondly remembered as Matchbox kits and seccondly have worthwhile counterparts in 1/48th scale which would  be easy to pass off as their Matchbox counterparts.  For instance there are  not many 1/48th scale F-14's that include canopy frame as part of the canopy moulding. The third factor was choosing subjects for which the original Matchbox kits came in   interesting colours.

What a great idea – instant nostalgia for us who were teens when the Matchbox range was launched!

Airfix has a Walrus waiting for a similar treatment…

Kind regards,

Go for it Joachim!

The last one is about 50:50 each. My contribution was the masking and all of the decal work on the fins.39860162_10209473877324466_779678763719239922665_10209473880124536_366878494426139883592_10209473884604648_8025860121651

It had to  be the ~Monogram kit because, as previously mentioned it was the only kit available  with the canopy frame all moulded  intransparent plastic.
