Folkbox1
I was camping just outside Whitby in a place called Sneaton last Tuesday (14/8/18) when I saw a plane fly overhead. It looked like a low wing monoplane painted in a dark green with possibly a yellow nose. It looked more like a rotary engine than inline and the green seemed more WW2 Japanese army green than anything else. Anybody else see it and knows what it is? Cheers (Also had low flying Tornadoes I think - all modern grey jobs look the same to me! - and a jet trainer fly over so quite a good spot for airplane spotting)
Silver Fox
Possibly a Yak 18 or a Yak 52. There are few on the civil register?

Folkbox1
Looks about the right shape and colour. Didn't spot a big red star though and I'm sure it was not a two seater Thanks😊
