RAF C130 pilots

As my ongoing 1/48 build of the mighty Herc continues, I have decided to do an in flight model due to sheer size of it, my question is, do the pilots wear Flight helmets or just  the over the head type head phones

I have never seen an RAF C-130 crew using flight helmets, that’s as an RAF Mover and in almost 30 years at RIAT greeting arriving aircraft.

From what i have seen at the moment is that it vary's

On the last link there is a crew that wears them no in the pit but the guy in the dome has a helmet on...

I think the above shot suggests Helmets are Role related- Standard Transport gig- Headset,: Sneaky Beaky Black Ops stuff- Lids on!

Thanks guys, that's one of the photos that got me asking the question, think I will go for the no helmet look on this one!
