Patrik
Here she is. Airfix 1/72 Tiger Moth plus Kora floatplane conversion set and Eduard photo-etched details. The build thread can be reviewed here. The kit was completed as S-1675, one of the two evaluation seaplanes modified by Short Brothers in their Rochester works in 1932. Hand brushed with combination of Humbrol, Revell and Model Master enamels. Roundels by Xtradecal (the fuselage ones modified with bigger red centres), serial numbers by Modeldecal. Frankly, I expected the new Airfix to be a bit more on the “shake and bake” side, nevertheless an enjoyable build. As usual with me, no rigging. The very last photo allows you to compare the recent Airfix with the old Pavla short run kit (exhumed later also by AZ). Please notice this particular airplane was equipped with the Quite-an-Early-Type-Six-Spoked-Wheels for the amphibious operations.😉 Edited August 19, 2018 by Patrik Corrected link

ColinChipmunkfan
That is really good Patrik, model looks very realistic and a great brush finish. Back story makes it all the more interesting.
