Hairtrigger
Oberstleutnant Hans Joachim Marseille JG 27 El Gazala N Africa 1942. Straight out of the plastic bag. Made seatbelts for Hans from Tamiya tape actually look great, but you can't see them very well. I would normally do a bit of light weathering with pastels etc, but left it as is. This is brush painted. The decals I fretted over and would have normally cut out the 1 and 4 but found them too frail. I had tested some for the Galland option and they broke up so aired on caution with the 1 and 4 hence slight silvering. Hope you like it.

dogsbody
Nice! This was my first Me109 kit, way back in the summer of '69. I did mine in the Galland option. It didn't look near as nice as yours looks. Chris
Bell209
I did mine in the same scheme as yours (must've been early 70s). Yours is much nicer!
Uncle Pete
I believe I had a 109 on my ceiling as a kid (back when Fred and Barney were in high school) firing a burst into a Wellington. I wonder if it was the same kit? Mine didn't look that good, though! I like the scheme, it's the sort of paint job that can break up the sea of olive drab on the shelf. Take away the crosses and replace them with Marlboro or Staples logos and you've got yourself an air racer!
