rayprit
Here she is? The CEO of the RAF Museum, the woman that put a stop to the modellers fair...…….seems to be plenty of room for tables, but I imagine that a collection of models would look out of place in a "posh" museum
gamevender
FWIW, last year I visited this museum and stopped by the WWI exhibit and was quite pleased. Yes, a few of the a/c were replicas, but it was all done very nicely. As for the rest, it follows what's happening in museums all around the globe. At the Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, which is one of the pre-eminent air museums in the world, in many places it is so dark, you cannot even read the explanatory plaques by the a/c. The Memphis Belle is suspended about 10 feet off the ground so while you can see in the bomb bay and wheel wells, the top could be painted psychedelic orange for all you can see.
