Learstang Posted August 13, 2018 Share Posted August 13, 2018 (edited) That paint scheme, with the red and white, was characteristic of Yakovlev (originally 'AIR') aircraft, and this is an AIR-2 replica. This was an aircraft that was built in very small numbers (only six, according to air historian Bill Gunston) in the late 1920s, early 1930s.
