Lamborghini Espada

Hi car peeps,

I only build the occasional car so thought I'd ask if any of you guys know if anybody does a kit of the Espada or has done a kit in the past,

Spad, Nakamura did an Espada in 1/24th moons ago, and is still available on evilbay if you have a shufti around.

SMP24 also do one (did one) but its quite hard to find, resin and expensive

the Espada is one of my favourite cars, along with the Shelby Cobra, Ford GT 40, Honda NSX, XJ 220 & 68 Olds 442.

...and definitely the hardest to find as a kit, of that list. I've heard very good things about those SMP24 kits, but as Steve implies, it's best to get them as soon as they come out, if they do something that you want, because they vanish pretty quickly...

 

[edit] Looks like you're in luck (;-P). The plave to buy them from is Keystone Models, a Japanese site that is happy to deal with overseas customers in English (the guy behind SMP24 doesn't speak English, and recommends people to go via Keystone, it seems).
