FatFlyHalf
I recall one dark and dismal day at Finningley when one of these turned up and parked overnight. This was in the early 1970's. The old lady was showing her age (evidence of oil leaks on the pan following her departure) but we all really enjoyed the wonderful sound as she took to the air. I'd have loved to have flown in one, but it never happened. Lovely modelling. Thanks.

Spitfire31
Anything with contra rotating props is a winner in my book, preferably with Griffon engines, and especially modelled with such attention to detail and a beautiful finish! Kind regards, Joachim

426
I seem to recall the Shackleton being described as so many thousand rivets flying in close formation! Great model. Edited August 11, 2018 by 426
