Carius
Hello everybody, Here is my almost finished rare 1/35 scale FineMolds Type 89A medium tank. A wonderful thing it is, a pure pleasure to assemble indeed. The model was built almost straight from the box. I added until now a FineMolds MG75 metal gun barrel and MR Models 35398 resin stowage for Type 89. I will added Spade Ace Models SAT-35089 metal tracks too. The camo scheme was based on three tone spotted camouflage with blackened borders, called "japanese style", and the model was painted with Humbrol enamels, all lightened with white to represent a sun-bleached effect. Weathered using filters, washes, pigments and streaking effects. The painted kit and heavy weathering: The new metal tracks...tedious work ahead: That's all for now... FrancisGL
It looks very good, with a dusty and worn look. No doubt a very original model, the camo must have been something complicated to do, only available to people with skill. Those tracks will give the final touch. Will they be with saggy or straight lines as they look now? ... Cheers Cesar
Carius
Hi my friend, saggy tracks no doubt, looks very nice... The painting of the scheme of the camouflage gave much work, indeed. Cheers Francis
