planehazza
Future plans see me building a few 1/48 F-16s. At £12 a pop I don't really want to buy the Tamiya detail up sets each time; I scratch built the RAM panels and strengthening plates, but it was all done by eyeball and took a very large amount of time. So I've compromised and bought the detail up set which I plan to use a master template to create styrene parts that will actually become part of the models. This is where I am on the first part: Now, how would you recommend I create the rivets? I don't have anuy dedicated rivet tools or templates. Shall I just use the tape as pictured and use a needle? Or would making any of the rivets be pointless in this scale? The squares on the cutting board are 1cm2 for reference. Thanks!
