Do you have an inside scoop?

No, but I don't need it.  Raymond Chung who owns Kinetic has a passion about making his kits accurate and having built most of the Kinetic releases I have no reason to believe that the F.1 will be anything other than good.

Raymond Chung is a casual modeller. Project contributors are the guys who care about accuracy.

Great news on the F.1, at least it will be a LOT better than the Kitty Hawk disaster...................and the other Kinetic kits these days are pretty cool and good.

Also really looking forward to the Pucara, and the M346, and that is due fairly soon now, so lots of nice goodies in the Kinetic pile on the way.

That IS good news!

I only have ~5-6 Italeri and FM kits ;)

But , 20 schemes to do?!!

Kinetic, take your time and have good reviewers!!

Scale, shape, etc are much more important than weapons count!!!

With this new Mirage F-1 from Kinetic we will most likely have two sets of two full-length half-fuselages for easier assembly :

a set for the single-seater version and a set for a future two-seater version.

The Kinetic promo video clearly shows us that the small rods of fasteners and reinforcements fuselage air intakes

are present as parts.

Also bet for a specific piece of ADF antenna ''Fin Fillet'' drift foot extension for Iraqis & Libyan Mirage F-1, a recce compartment

faithful in forms for the F-1CR, as well as Mirage F-1CT and Mirage F-1AZ and F-1AD specific parts.

This Kinetic project has just taken the lead in my acquisitions and budget estimates for 2019.

In the meantime, I'm going to stock on Mirage F-1 1/48 decals sheets.

🤗

A very happy SharkOwl !

I am quite happy with the current Kinetic Model's new 1/48 kits and reboxing of older kits on the

pipeline but I have a question :

Any news about this 1/48 Kinetic Mirage F-1 project announced in august 2018 ?

🙂

It would be great if some one did a 1/48 kit or conversion for the Mirage F1.M53 (also referred to as the "F1E").  This had SNECMA M53 turbofan, a slight fuselage stretch and retractable inflight refuelling probe and competed against the F-16 for the "Deal of the Century" in Europe.

A bit off topic, no? ;)

But yes would be interesting.. but actually can't be too hard to scratch, no?

There was 1? Prototype, no? Did it actually fly?

I do hope for a nice Kinetc model... correct shape and  size would be a bonus ;)

If not I prefer the Esci mold....
