hsr
This is my 1/72 Italeri AC-130 Spectre. As you are probably aware I am not a big fan of Italeri kits so I won't belabor you with a litany of fit and other issues. The good news, for me, is I have checked my pile and this is the last Italeri kit on it . Interestingly while the decals were again excellent they did not totally agree with the placement drawings, and while this is billed as a "H" model if you look closely at one of the placards it says "C-130A" . Anyway I think it came out very nicely. So on to the pictures. Anyway next up is the Roden AC-123K Enjoy

cardiff guy
Gota love the Herk, is this the old Esci kit or the original Italeri offering ? Glenn
hsr
If I interpret the Scalemates page, https://www.scalemates.com/kits/101707-italeri-1310-lockheed-martin-ac-130h-spectre, correctly this is derived from the Esci kit. I have always wanted to build a 130, it just has that serious no nonsense look to it. Thanks Howard
aidy
Having built one of these before, all I can say is that that's some seriously good work in the canopy. Fantastic model all round.
hsr
That canopy was especially bad and it took several iterations and a lot of sanding until I could get it to be acceptable, but I am still not 100% happy with it. But at least no dust this time 👍 Thanks
ColinChipmunkfan
Very impressive factory fresh C130- it has a serious 'don't mess with me' look about it.

Orion
Hello HSR, Great model. The decals to their job, they give it more color. Regards, Orion.
hsr
And they worked well with very little silvering to fix Thanks
kapam
That's a first class build. Yes, Italeri kits are "idiosyncratic" to say the least. But you've done an excellent job nonetheless.

TheyJammedKenny!
Nicely done! Yes, the Esci kit is a mess, especially around the cockpit, and this is a really great save!
