There might not be a need for a poll... I'd be ready to let "somebody" announce when the 9th proposal hits the required 30 member- mark that they are the 2019 Group Builds. Please note there should not be any of mine among them, so I'm neutral in writing this. Just to avoid the vote I haven't signed on several proposals, though I'd probably join them should they become Future GB:s. Lazy, undemocratic me... Good morning Well I wouldn't be disapointed if the 8 GBs get qualified without having to pass the poll they are all very interesting .. And it would also save Enzo the work of managing the poll .. Dave Now that would be an excellent solution if we only have 12 get enough support. this is actually a great opportunity for those GB's which have been trying to get through the voting stage for the past couple of years but keep missing out to have their chance, then next year we virtually start with a clean slate. It would be nice to see some different topics get through rather than the second, third or even fourth iterations of the same GB's continuously getting done. Don't get me wrong I join them and build for them too but would like to see something different for a change which might get some of us to look at subjects that we usually wouldn't. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Great idea Enzo Personally I'd be happy to see this idea go ahead if it's what the majority are happy with. And as others have also said it would be good to have a clean slate for the 2020 poll. To keep things real in 2020 and beyond may I suggest that the threshold for GBs be raised further and, once the support is there, they get the next available slot as STGBs currently do. This would avoid the poll, maybe have more supporters actually join in with the Builds they support as their current commitments will be known so they can avoid being in too many at once, and possibly limit how far ahead the calender runs. It should also mean that more inclusive GBs build support faster than the more restrictive ones.
