F-16C, USAF s/n 83-1120, the third of a trio of F-16As modified on the production line to be the first Block 30 configured jets. 83-1118, '119, and '120 all went to the F-16 Combined Test Force at Edwards as flight test jets, testing Block 30 software and radar upgrades as well as variations in ECM/ESM fit. Thanks for more great pictures Sven, keep them coming please!

What an interesting subject, I like the scheme with the Gunship grey ending further back on the fuselage, the mis-matched canopy rail, and the light leading edges on the horizontal stabilizers. Is the intake lip white? Was it standard to have double orange 'rescue' triangles below the cockpit on the right side?

Thanks again Sven.

Yes the intake lip is white.

TBH, I hadn't even noticed the second explosives warning triangle and have no idea why it is there. There is also the falcon motif behind the cockpit which disappeared by the time the 1991 photos were taken.  They are tough to see, but there is wiring secured to the base of the ventral fin for strain guages in the first photo.

Does any aftermarket company make a spin chute?

None that I'm aware of.

I started making a spin chute in 1/72. Only got as far as the fuselage fittings and the quadrapod. The whole thing got put on hold when my work room flooded last year and I haven't go back to it. I made the load distribution straps and mounting plate out of beer can aluminum. I really have to rework the mounting brackets as they came out over-sized.
