For me Lysander is kinda archetypic airplane as it was one of the first types used by the Poles (309 Squadron) in Britain in 1940 (along with the Hurry, the Battle and the Wimpy) so is present in every book about WWII Polish Aviation. Buzby061 Posted September 4, 2018 Share Posted September 4, 2018 Just stumbled on this. The kit is on my wish list & I hope to finish it in the 613 Sqn scheme. I've done a 613 Mustang 1 & got the Spit F-22 & 613 decals for it. As a Manc (ish) it's my local squadron, unfortunately they disbanded a year before I was born. The Auxiliary Air Force buildings were still standing until well into the 80s at Ringway. This build is coming along nicely, looking forward to more progress. Bookmarked.
