Listening to the Solstice

Whilst in Canada I visited several aviation museums and took these pics: of a naked Mk1

I also took the following pics: of a Mk2 through the canopy perspex hence the reflections. As far as I know the interior of the Mk2 is similar to the Mk1

Now you have almost all that you desired (About this Anson I mean…)

So, Let's see how Ann's son will entertain us !!

I've been looking through the Flightpath etch so between that and a revealed engine I reckon there's plenty to keep us occupied in the coming months CC!

what a most generous thing it is for Mr. Bufton to have done in just sharing the info., let alone scanning his dad's logbook for you!

I'm still gobsmacked at such generosity Keith and morally obliged to make as good a job a humanly possible of the aircraft as a result. :nodding:

TheBaron, you really know how to hook your fish.  What an enticing story for a build project.  I shall follow this with bated breath.

Delighted to have you along Colin.

Such good news, we are seeing history written here

Thanks for sharing it with us

A pleasure to share such things Bill - and to know that there are still further things out there to be looked for!

Just posted this to get your hopes up... :evil_laugh:

You're evil you are! Are you rehearsing for a role of one of the ugly sisters in Cinderella this year or is just "Princess Caroline of Brunswick Winds Up Susceptible Brit Modellers" again?

I've had a complaint about the lack of progress on this thread.

I believe the expression used was "tell him to hurry the (deleted) up!"

I didnt think an Anson could look scowlly

How in earth have I missed this?

What a fascinating project: first hand historical references, and a huge upgrade to an old Airfix classic...it doesn't get better than that!

 Waiting patiently at the bar.....

You would look scowlly if you were waiting for the Baroness to pull her finger out!

Haven't you got an Anson to wash or something Steve?

Covered in dust so it is.

Hasn't seen a bar of soap that hasn't.

Your usual super photographs - just been playing 'Spot the Part' in the background...

Is that Jacobs' engines on the Annie?

Get some peanuts in Ian - I'll be another fortnight at the most on the Iron Chicken and then over to here for good.

Now look what you made me do  - I've gone and spilt Eau de Toilette all over my best organza bodice you pesky xenomorph.

I'll put a film on to keep you out of trouble until we're ready:

Some nice Anson shots at 6.56 or thereabouts...

I noticed that the Baroness has put the film up to keep me out of trouble. Anyone want to give odds on him succeeding? Bearing in mind of course, that nobody has succeeded in the fifty seven of your Earth years since I was dragged kicking and screaming into the universe!

Did you use voice recognition or just spell with NZ phonetics for this sentence Steve? 😆
