Jb65rams
Just thought I would share a few photos from a wonderful day out at Duxford on Sunday. The highlight being a flight in a Dragon Rapide in formation with a Spitfire. A birthday present from by brother and his family. Thanks, de Havilland Rapide. My ride for the day. Spitfire Mk.1 N3200. A fantastic experience to fly alongside such a beautiful aircraft. 3
Paul J
A great experience for sure and nice photos! Why was the Spit undercart partially lowered? To do with stalling speed or similar?? The Rapide is familiar to me. Flew in G-AIDL back in 1978/79. ( Crikey, 40 years ago!!!!!)
Alpha Delta 210
Nice! I thought that they always used MH434.
Latinbear
I was also bought this experience (albeit with MH434) by my family and after a couple of false starts owing to the weather finally got to do it. I agree with you that it is a truly fantastic thing to do and one of those memories of a lifetime.
