CT Modeller
Buccaneers These are 8 Buccaneer models built over the past 20 years or so (or is it more? – yes probably). Some of them have been posted on Britmodeller before, but some were lost in the great Photobucket disaster so I thought it was time to put them all together on Flickr and show them all. NA39 – 5th prototype XK491. Airfix Buccaneer S.1 XN956 / LM 696, 809 NAS, Lossiemouth 1964. Converted from Airfix S.2 kit. Buccaneer S.1 XN953 / E 109, 800 NAS, HMS Eagle 1964. Built from an Airfix NA39 kit. Buccaneer S.2 XV156 / E 100, 800 NAS, Lossiemouth 1966. Frog kit with Freightdog resin nose & Modeldecals. Buccaneer S.2 XV338 / H 236, 801 NAS, HMS Hermes 1968. Airfix kit & Xtradecals. Buccaneer S.2 XT277 / LM 320, 809 NAS, Lossiemouth 1967. Old Frog kit – built how it used to be without rescribing, etc. Buccaneer S.2B XW538 / 237 OCU, Honington 1972. Matchbox kit rebuilt. Buccaneer S.2B XW534 / E, 15 Sqn, Laarbruch 1980. Matchbox kit. Chris

Meatbox8
What a fabulous collection of models of this amazing aeroplane. I seriously wish I could get such good results from these old kits. I have plans to build an S.1 from the Airfix kit and have been collecting all the appropriate parts. I only hope it comes out as good as your examples. I heard that Tanmodel plan kits of S.2s in 1/72 and 1/48th. Rejoice!

Unfinished project
Those are brilliant, i think I can see a bit of a theme running here. I miss the flying coke bottle if I had to pick a favourite it would be the last one with the slipper tanks

Rabbit Leader
Should we be graced with new tooled 1/72 Bucc kits in the near future, surely you deserve to be the first to have a crack at one of the first production runs. That’s a lovely collection and is a great reward for what must have been a mountain of invested time and energy. Cheers.. Dave (who is now reconsidering selling his Matchbox kit!) kapam
Beautifully presented replicas of this venerable FAA and Air Force aircraft. Re-postings since the "great Photobucket Rebellion" are much welcomed by myself and hopefully others.

missile-monkey
Nice Buccs. On the subject of the best naval aircraft that ever served in the Fleet Air Arm, IMHO ! ! does anyone know where I can get a conversion kit to convert the S2 to an earlier S1 version please? Regards MM.....

I've seen his collection and it covers a wide range - from airliners to a tiny helicopter with many others types in between. All beautifully built - curse him!
