I use a Canon EOS 1DX and 100-400 mk2 lens for all of these. The camera may have cost a lot but is worth every penny as the focusing is so quick and shooting at 12 frames a second means Red Arrows crossovers are easy 😉 . It's the kit, not the photographer. The lens is also very good offering good focal length range and crisp pictures. I used to have a 300mm f2.8 lens but sold it recently.
