RIAT Friday and Sunday with a small camera!

Hi all,

 

Really impressed by the standard of pictures taken by you all both at RIAT and other shows and just to prove how much better yours are than mine here are some of my better ones.

This first batch are from the Friday when the weather was changeable.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And now some from Sunday when the weather was much better.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In case you can't tell I liked the Flanker, A LOT!!

 

Now after you've all stopped laughing at my efforts please bear in mind that I use a small Sony DSC-HX60, which is the same camera I use for taking pictures of my models and family holidays etc.

Thanks for posting these, Craig. Your Sony is obviously very capable and you have got some great catches. My favourite is the last image of the Flanker climbing away.

Well.. You definitely lied. 🤣

 

You did that lot with a compact super zoom camera! I dread to think what you'd do with a compact system camera (Think Panny G9) and a quality telephoto lens. Here.. Have my job.

Thanks Jonathan, you (and Paul and AD210) are far too kind. I don't go to enough shows etc to justify a more expensive camera and mostly use it for family trips, models and aircraft in the static which it is great for. And Jonathan your job is very, very safe!
